A NEW road layout is set to be trialled in Ingoldmells in a bid to tackled slow-moving traffic on Roman Bank after complaints from motorists.
The trial will see motorists travelling north on Roman Bank prevented from turning right into Sea Lane in a bid to cut waiting times for drivers going straight on.
A Lincolnshire Council spokesperson said: “We all know how frustrating it can be to be sat in slow-moving traffic. People come here to relax and have fun – not to get stuck in a traffic jam.”
The police, parish council and Stagecoach have given a ‘thumbs up’ to the trial, with traffic surveys and further consultations taking place this summer to gain feedback.
