Passengers looking to travel along the Nottingham to Skegness Poacher line tomorrow (Monday) will be able to take direct trains along the full length of the route - despite ongoing disruption on other routes in and out of Nottingham.
All trains departing Skegness until after the 5.30pm departure (inclusive) will run direct to Nottingham.
Services from Skegness from the 6.14pm journey onwards, will run to Grantham, with bus replacement services in effect for those travelling on to Nottingham.
Journeys from Nottingham will also be relatively disruption free.
Train journeys out of Nottingham before 8.30am will necessitate the use of bus replacements as far as Grantham, but every train service going to Skegness from the 8.45am journey onwards (inclusive), will run unbroken from Nottingham to Skegness.
There will also be a number of additional bus services during the day from Nottingham to Grantham, but these will run in tandem with the normal rail timetable, and will have no impact upon regular rail services.
This timetable will remain in effect all the way through to Friday (inclusive).
The disruption on the line has been caused by major re-signalling work at Nottingham Station. This is set to run until the end of August, with many routes in and out of Nottingham affected. However, there will be direct services to Skegness on most of the days - bar a 12-day window in the middle of the month.
