A man was injured after being knocked off his bike in Skegness in a hit and run incident.
The cyclist, a 29 year-old local man, was admitted to hospital in Skegness around 6.45pm on Monday April 18, but it is unclear exactly when he was struck by the car as he was laying on the pavement for a while before being able to call for help.
He was transferred to Boston Pilgrim Hospital where, fortunately, his injuries did not turn out to be serious.
The location of the collision was Burgh Old Road, as the casualty cycled from Beacon Way towards the rear of the Welcome Inn.
The only description of the vehicle is that it was a dark colour, possibly black.
