Theddlethorpe woman in court over fatal crash

A Theddlethorpe woman appeared at Skegness Magistrates’ Court yesterday (April 28) on charges arising from a fatal accident in Alford last October.

Katherine Mary Howe, 49, of Harps Bridge Lane, Theddlethorpe, is alleged to have caused the death of Nathan Louis Askew by driving her Mini Paceman without due care and attention at Well, near Alford on October 4 2014.

No plea was taken and the case was adjourned to May 26 at the request of Mrs Howe’s solicitor, who told the court that prosecution papers had only just been served on the defence and that a page of the technical report and photographs taken by the police were missing.

Mrs Howe was granted unconditional bail.
