Former three time British Superbike champion John Reynolds stopped off in Skegness recently to pick up a charity cheque for £15,000.
The well-known racer was the guest of the Bikers 4 Macmillan group (B4M) at the Storehouse, Skegness on Sunday, November 3.
John was accepting the five-figure cheque on behalf of Macmillan Cancer Support after the cash was raised by B4M during their annual over-night ride from Holyhead in Wales to Skegness, which took place in the summer on June 22.
The B4M group chairman Steve Freemantle said: “I’m delighted to be able to present the cheque to John on behalf of the group”.
Most of the motorcyclists from the 2013 Sunset to Sunrise tour rode the final leg of the event from Lincoln on the day, arriving at the Storehouse early in the afternoon.
All the money raised will be used locally in the Lincolnshire area.
