Spilsby King Edward VI Academy pupil has head shaved for Cancer Research

A King Edward VI Academy pupil in Spilsby has raised over £400 for charity so far after volunteering to have all of his hair shaved.

Year 11 student, Jordan Henley, volunteered for the fundraiser in aid of Cancer Research. He had his locks trimmed by Rebecca Christopher from Turning Heads, Spilsby.

“This is a charity very close to Jordan’s heart and he felt this an excellent way to raise much needed funding,” said a spokesperson for the Academy.

The event took place in the academy hall recently and students each paid £1 to watch.
