A charity skydive bought some seasonal cheer to Skegness Day Centre providing festive food hampers and a Christmas lunch for members.
Centre manager Mandy Hayes, kitchen assistant Jayne Cooper and Travan Chandler for Hodgkinsons Solicitors took part in the parachute jump at Hibaldstow airfield in North Lincolnshire.
The skydive raised £2,389 with a £400 donationa from Morrisons supermarket in Skegness adding to the total.
The food hampers were presented to members at the Christmas party on Wednesday. The party was attended by the day centre’s patron the Earl of Scarbrough, Richard Lumley.
He said: “I am always very impressed by the amazing job the staff do at the centre. It is a pleasure to come here and see everyone having a great time.”
Mandy is planning a wing walk next year to fundraise for the centre and has invited the Earl to take part in the fundraising escapade.
