A self-confessed adrenaline junkie completed a wing-walk in her latest heart- racing escapade. Daredevil Kirsty-Leigh Mason took to the skies standing astride a bi-plane to celebrate her 21st birthday.

Kirsty-Leigh, from Skegness, flew at around 100mph at up to 1,000ft at Wickenby Aerodrome, near Lincoln. Completing the challenge raised more than £400 for Cancer Research UK.

Hotel receptionist, Kirsty-Leigh completed a sky-dive when she was 16 and swam with sharks to mark her 18th birthday. She said: “You could definitely describe me as an adrenaline junkie. I wanted to do a loop the loop, it wasn’t allowed where we were flying. It was still amazing I would recommend it to anyone. I am hoping to do a bungee jump from Victoria Falls before my 30th birthday.”
