Skegness U3A members enjoy talk about Lincolnshire Air Ambulance

Around 70 members of Skegness U3A braved the weather to attend their January meeting recently.

The speaker was Victor Parrock talking about the Lincolnshire Air Ambulance.

“It was a most interesting talk; he had a good sense of humour and kept members captivated whilst imparting his knowledge about the technicalities of the type of helicopter that is used, as well as detailing the serious side of the job,” said a spokesperson.

A donation pot was set out for those members who wished to make a donation.

U3A members are reminded that Skegness meetings are now held at the Storehouse in North Parade. Entry is £2 for members, and £5 for visitors, inclusive of tea and coffee.
