England’s number one table tennis Cadet, Tom Jarvis from Skegness, will be taking part in the Junior Masters this weekend.

Tom, a 14-year-old Skegness Grammar School pupil, is one of the hottest table tennis prospects in the country and he’ll start the Junior Masters (under-18) after already winning the Cadet Masters last weekend at under 15 level, competing at Grantham College.

Ranked as England’s Number one cadet, Tom is ranked at number 40 in the world at Under-15 level.

He is currently reigning National Cadet Masters Champion (which he won last week in Burton), reigning National Cadet Boys Singles and Doubles Champion and reigning Under-14 Boys Singles and Doubles Champion.

He is also set to represent the English Schools (ESTTA) in the International School Sport

Federation’s (ISF) World Schools Championships on April 4-10th, in France.

Tom made the Cadet Boys’ Singles Quarter-Final at the Hungarian Open last year and also reached the Cadet Doubles Semi-Final with Scottish partner Chris Wheeler; before the pair pulled out due to Chris’ flight home prevented them from playing in the semi-final.
