Skegness Pier has been voted the fourth best pier to visit in the UK this summer.
In a Travel Blog by TripAdvisor subsidiary holidaylettings.co.uk, the pier was shortlisted and the public were invited to vote.
It achieved 385 votes putting it in front of Brighton Pier and Burham Pier.
The list also included Clarence Pier in Portsmouth which was voted number one, shortly followed by Grand Pier, Weston Super -Mare and then Cromer Pier.
Gabby Wilkinson of Skegness Pier said: “We are absolutely delighted and it is extremely encouraging to have achieved fourth place.
“Many people were quick to note that many other piers are longer than Skegness Pier.
“However this vote was about which pier is the best to visit this summer and I think the entertainment factor had a large part to play in this.
“Skegness Pier provides real family entertainment of a very varied nature. From our full sized Qubica AMF Bowling Centre, Laser Quest, Captain Kids Adventure World, Hollywood Bar and Diner, Arabian Derby, Trampolines, Tatoo Parlour, Teddy Kave which new for 2016, beach shops, plus several food outlets and much much more.”
