Skegness Library plan busy world book day and future events

To celebrate World Book Day, on Thursday, March, 6, Staff at Skegness Library will be dressed as characters from books for the day.

A story time for ‘tots’ will take place from 10am-11am and there is a just for fun quiz, for library users to take part in.

The family support programme will be running a job club from 10.30am-12.30pm, booking required.

The ‘Knit and Natter’ group will be present from 2-3.30pm with a display of some of the items they have made.

Staff will also arrange instant activities for children to complete.

Furthermore, on Monday, March 10, the library are hosting a fostering and adoption information day from 10am.

On Friday, March 14, from 10.30am-2pm the ‘food for life’ team will be in the library, with healthy eating, cooking demonstrations and free tasters, along with a short talk, ‘eating for health’.
