Yellow bellies can celebrate Lincolnshire Day in hearty style tucking into the county’s produce at The Village, Church Farm in Skegness
To mark the occasion, on October 1, local butchers are supplying free food cooked on a new grill at the museum bought thanks to a £1,000 grant from East Lindsey district councillor John Byford.
The grill will take pride of place in the tea room which is vital to the fundraising efforts which keep this fantastic free attraction open all year round.
The Village: Church Farm is staffed by volunteers and the purchase of the grill will help raise much needed funds through the sale of hot food.
Lincolnshire Day will be the perfect opportunity to also showcase local specialities including Lincolnshire Plum Loaf and Poacher Cheese.
The Village: Church Farm is situated on Church Road South and is open daily between 10am and 4pm
