Staff at the Hildreds Shopping Centre in Skegness have a lot to celebrate after being awarded for excellent customer service.
They attended a two day customer service training programme provided by World Host.
A globally recognised brand, World Host been used to train more than 160,000 people in the UK, including at the 2012 London Olympics.
The benchmark customer service training is provided for employees in the leisure, tourism and retail sectors.
WorldHost destination status can be awarded recognising a location as providing a premium service to its visitors.
East Lincolnshire and Lincoln were identified as two key visitor destinations in the county where the training programme will be rolled out initially.
Centre manager, Steve Andrews said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have passed the training with flying colours, now we can offer an even better service to our customers.”
Skegness town manager, Lisa Collins said: “Free customer service training places are still eligible for retail, hospitality and travel and tourism sector businesses that employ under 250 employees.”
She added: “This course will give staff the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent customer service.”
