Second arson attack in Skegness street in just a few weeks

Police in Skegness have appealed for information after the second arson attack in a Skegness street in a matter of weeks.

PCSO Dave Bunker, from the Skegness Neighbourhood Policing Team, has called on witnesses to come forward after the latest arson attack late last night (Friday).

“At approximately 11.25pm an unknown offender has approached the rear of a property located on Drummond Road, Skegness close to the junction with Sandbeck Avenue via a service road,” said PCSO Bunker.

“The offender has caused a fire at the rear of the property before making off in an unknown direction.”

The attack comes just weeks after another arson incident in the location of the same road junction.

PCSO Bunker continued: “We appeal to anyone who may be able to help to identify the offender or who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the offence to contact us quoting ‘incident 536 of October 11’.”
