The organisers behind a recent open gardens event in Scremby have moved to thank all those who came - after the day raised £2,000.
Three very different gardens were open for the afternoon.
The day also featured classic cars on display.
The event raised money to help restore the central stained glass window in the village’s Georgian church.
“We had a very successful event and would like to thank everyone who supported the afternoon,” said a spokesperson.
“We raised £2000 and so will be able to have the stained glass window repaired.
“In fact Mr Sear, who is going to undertake the work, came last week to remove it.
“The work will take six or seven weeks and we hope to have it put back in good time for the Harvest Festival in October,” they added.
