The Skegness Scout group teamed up with the Royal British Legion recently to commemorate WWI.

On Saturday, March 8, trees were planted at Skegness’s Coastal Eco Centre.

The event marked the centenary of the First World War.

During 1914-1918, 1,117,077 Commonwealth Service men and women were killed.

The losses were felt in almost every town and village in the UK and throughout what was then the British Empire.
