Skegness Silver Band present the annual Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance on Thursday, November 6.
Taking place at the Embassy Theatre, the emotional event begins at 7.30pm.
The festival honours and commemorates the lives of all those who have died in conflicts.
It is also an opportunity to give thanks and pay tribute to those who are currently serving in the armed forces.
Skegness Mayor Coun George Saxon, who will be attending on the night with Mayoress Julie Saxon, said: “It will be a lovely evening with the silver band playing and we need as many people as possible to come and support the event this year.
“The Royal British Legion is a long established charity and it is important that as a town we support these charities.
“We have a duty to continue to support and honour the war veterans who gave their lives for us, both in the First and Second World Wars - and conflicts since - and also those still involved in the armed services.”
“It is important to remember, particularly at this time as we commemorate the centenary of the First World War and with many elderly residing in Skegness who took part and remember the Second World War, we need to show we care.”
Tickets cost £7.50, £6 for over 60s and £4.50 for children. Visit www.embassythea tre.co.uk, call 0845 674 0505 or book in person at the theatre.
