More than 150 jobs will be up for grabs at a recruitment fair in Skegness.
As well as both full and part-time, permanent and temporary jobs on offer, there will be recruitment and training advice, plus information on apprenticeship and volunteering opportunities.
Employers in attendance include Butlins, Richmond Holiday Centre, Coastfields Leisure, McDonalds, Cucino Sano, the NHS and Boots.
The event will be run by East Lindsey District Council in conjunction with Jobcentre Plus at the Embassy Theatre on Wednesday, February 25, between 10.30am and 2.30pm.
The council’s portfolio holder for economic development Coun Craig Leyland said: “In the run up to the main summer tourist season along the East Coast these recruitment fairs are a great opportunity for local employers to showcase the jobs they have available and for local people to see just what is on offer.
“In a district such as East Lindsey, seasonal employment makes up a large proportion of the work force, so winter months can be particularly difficult for many people. We would therefore urge all jobseekers to attend one of the recruitment fairs to see what is on offer right on their doorstep.”
June Howard, of Jobcentre Plus, added: “There are many unemployed people searching for jobs in the area, but also people who have jobs that are seeking new challenges or a change in direction. These events are not just for the unemployed, they are for anyone who is interested in finding out what opportunities are available.”
A similar event will take place at Mablethorpe Community Hall, on Friday, February 20, between 10.30am and 2.30pm.
