Budding reporters tracked down an exclusive on a visit to the Parrot Zoo at Friskney.
Young Journalist Academy members from Burgh le Marsh Primary School photographer Charlotte Capes, video cameraman Beck Squires and interviewer Toby Toyne were on assignment following the recent arrival of three Bengal tiger cubs at the visitor attraction. The zoo’s chief executive Steve Nichols told the team about how the tigers are cared for and the threat they face in the wild. He also revealed that the zoo is planning to change its name to the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park.
