The Skegness Neighbourhood Policing Team held a successful cycle, mobility scooter and small property marking event at the Hildreds Centre on Saturday.
The team spoke with approximately 100 members of the community offering advice regarding bogus callers, scams, home security and handed out approximately 75 property marking packs, 80 purse bells and numerous no cold calling door stickers.
Four mobility scooter owners also arranged to have their scooters marked.
PCSO Claire Scott said: “I would like to thank all those who attended and made this event such a huge success.
“Property marking is a proven deterrent to theft and I’d like to invite every one to attend our next property marking event which is being held outside the Hildreds Centre on May 23 between 10am and 2pm.”
