Praise for new community hub

A RECENTLY opened community hub in Skegness has received the town council’s seal of approval.

Mayor of Skegness Coun Steve Kirk said he was ‘extremely impressed’ after visiting the new Storehouse which opened on North Parade on Saturday, February 25.

Advocating the new facility to his fellow councillors at a meeting last Wednesday, he said: “There’s no end of really good things down there, it’s a huge attraction at this end of town - which is what we need.”

The ambitious project, which was launched by the New Day Christian Centre, is scheduled to include a coffee shop, soft play area, a hair salon, a 200 seater auditorium and eventually a 1,000 seater auditorium by the time of its final completion.
