Two seasonal toilet facilities in Chapel St Leonards are set to have their opening hours restricted this summer.
The toilets at Trunch Lane and South Road normally open from Easter to October, but this is now set to be limited to the peak holiday season.
Exact dates are still to be confirmed, but it is likely to include Easter, May Bank Holidays and school summer holidays.
The decision was taken at last week’s Chapel Parish Council Environment and Amenities Committee meeting.
Committee members decided against introducing charging as the £4,000 cost per toilet facility was deemed too high.
The parish council took over the running of the toilets from East Lindsey District Council in 2011. Councillors agreed they needed to reduce the cost of running the service following a 32 per cent cut to its grant funding in the next financial year.
A toilet at Ancaster Avenue will remain in use throughout year and the seasonal Chapel Point facility is due to open as normal.
