A Skegness Town Council by-election will be held tomorrow (Thursday).

Candidates for the Conservatives, Labour and UKIP will be contesting the vacant seat in the Scarbrough Parish Ward.

Gordon Lee Davie of Laythorpe Avenue in Skegness will be standing for the UK Independence Party.

Maggie Gray of Lincoln Road, Skegness will be contesting the seat on behalf of the Labour Party.

And Rob Ryder of Beresford Avenue in Skegness will be standing on behalf of the Conservative Party.

Polling is scheduled to take place on Thursday (October 31) from 7am to 10pm.

Only one of the candidates will be elected.

Elligble voters can cast their vote at the Methodist Church Hall on Algitha Road or the OAP Assembly Hall on Lincoln Road, both Skegness. The winner of the seat is expected to be announced later this week.
