MP for Boston and Skegness invites constituents to ‘fight for change’ on Europe

The MP for Boston and Skegness Mark Simmonds has invited his constituents to have their say on the nation’s relationship with Europe.

Mr Simmonds is offering local people the chance to ‘co-sponsor’ a draft law underpinning an EU referendum, supporting James Wharton MP’s EU Referendum Bill.

“Conservatives want to give the British people a say,” he said. “That’s what this innovative campaign will help us to do. If you care about giving millions of Brits a vote on Europe for the first time in 40 years, please visit

“Co-sponsor our Bill and fight for change.”

If successful, the Bill will lead to the first public vote on Europe for 40 years, following a renegotiation of Britain’s relationship with the union. Mr Simmonds intends to vote in favour of the Bill.
