Labour’s Gwendolen Gray wins Skegness by-election

Labour Party candidate Gwendolen Margaret Gray has won this week’s Skegness Town Council by-election.

She won the vacant seat in the Scarbrough Parish Ward following Thursday’s public vote.

She received 219 votes, with UKIP’s Gordon Lee Davie in second with 132. The Conservative’s Robert Johnathan Ryder was third with 107 votes.

The electoral turnout was 15.58 per cent.
