Bateman’s Brewery has been given the planning go-ahead by East Lindsey District Council for a detached bungalow to be built at the rear of the beer garden of a pub in Sibsey.

It will be erected at the rear of its White Hart bar.

In a note to the planning department, the Wainfleet company’s managing director Stuart Bateman said: “It has been our policy over the last 18 months or so to look at pubs where we have excess land or outbuildings where we might gain planning permission for development, with part of any proceeds being ploughed back into the pub.”
