Three local groups have received a combined total of almost £2,000 in the latest round of East Lindsey District Council’s councillor community initiative grants.
Spilsby and District Lawn Tennis Club was the big winner, receiving a total of £1,000 from Spilsby & Hundleby councillors Roderick Williams and James Hopkins. The money will be used towards white goods and utensils for the club.
Elsewhere, Cllr Graham Archer has awarded £500 to Ingoldmells Parish Council towards the cost of fencing and hedging.
And the Skegness Fellowship of Churches have been awarded £400 from St Celements Ward councillor Sid Dennis for uniforms for its Skegness Street Pastors Project.
