Absolutely brilliant! That was the verdict of visitors and organisers after another memorable Revesby Country Fair on Sunday.
Thousands of visitors came through the gates, which opened for business at 8.30am.
There were blue skies, with sun cream, sun hats and ice creams the order of the day.
And, yes, the beer tent was pretty busy as well!
Show chairman John Roe promised ‘something for everyone’ and that certainly proved to be the case.
Revesby must be one of the few fairs where you can buy a top of the range Land Rover and a Lincolnshire sausage sandwich...within just a few steps!
The main show rings were packed all day with a series of breathtaking displays from gun dogs to falcons.
Children’s rides were also popular, while at the other end of the age scale, vintage tractors and other ‘old’ vehicles were a big hit.
The action in the showjumping ring more than matched the weather.
Visitors Kevin and Jenny Bradley said: “It was a brilliant day out.
“We really enjoyed ourselves and our daughter Ellie, six, didn’t want to go home.
“She loved all the animals and we can’t wait until next year.”
