The Rasen Mail has been informed Councillor Giles McNeill is ‘stepping back’ from his role as leader of West Lindsey District Council

In a statement, Ian Knowles Chief Executive of West Lindsey District Council said: “I can confirm that the Leader of the Council, Councillor Giles McNeill, will be taking a step back from his role so that he can deal with some personal challenges.

“The Council’s Deputy Leader, Cllr Owen Bierley will be stepping in to cover the Leaders’ duties until further notice.”
