Opening times are set to increase at the Burgh Reading and Development Centre (formerly Burgh Library).
From next week, the High Street resource will be opening every Tuesday from 3-6pm.
This is in addition to the current opening times of Thursdays and Saturdays from 10am to 1pm and follows the successful recruitment of more volunteers.
A spokesman said: “We have around 4,000 books which should suit every taste from fiction to crime to local history. If you prefer, we have a selection of talking books. And for the young readers, we have picture books for the early readers up to fiction for teenagers.”
He added the centre has a large reference section about Burgh and the surrounding area as well as computers with access to the internet, free to use (book on 01522 782010).
More volunteers are needed. For more information, see inside the centre.
