More than £300 was raised for charity by rowers taking part in a 24-hour challenge in Skegness.
Phoenix Fitness, in Victoria Road, held the event at Tesco, in Richmond Drive, Skegness, last weekend.
It saw a team of staff and members from the gym row for a total of 24 hours across two machines over the two days.
Jack Johnson, 28, owner of Phoenix Fitness, said: “It all went well, there was a good atmosphere.”
This is the first charity event Jack has held since becoming the owner of Phoenix Fitness in recent months, but he told The Standard ‘without a shadow of a doubt’ there will be more.
Money raised on the weekend will be given to Diabetes UK, Tesco’s national charity partner.
