Staff at the new Asda petrol filling station in Skegness were joined by children from Little Learners Day Nursery for the official opening.

The ribbon was cut last week ahead of the first cars arriving at the filling station on Roman Bank.

Everyday essentials such as bread, milk, quick meal solutions, snacks and coffee on the go are available from the on-site store.

Customers can also complete a full weekly shop by ordering online and collecting it at the site free of charge.

Luis Hoyles, manager at Asda Skegness, said: “We want to help people save as much money as they can, whether it’s on their shopping or on their petrol, so we’re extremely pleased to see our new forecourt, shop, and click and collect open for business and benefitting the local community.”
