Police were called to a road traffic accident at 6.40am this morning (Friday) on Queens Road, Skegness.

The accident involved three vehicles, but only one driver, as two of the vehicles were parked.

Lincolnshire Police said the 40-year-old male driver of a silver Volkswagon Golf collided with two static vehicles, a blue Ford Fiesta and a red Vauxhall Corsa.

The man, who was the only person injured, had to be cut free from the vehicle and was taken to Boston’s Pilgrim Hospital as a precaution. Police said his injuries were not thought to be serious.

The road was cleared and the three vehicles were towed away at 9.07am.
