Mayor urges fund hopefuls to act fast

ORGANISATIONS hoping to capitalise on a multimillion coastal funding pot have been urged to submit their applications soon.

Social enterprises and charities were invited to bid for up to a £2million share of the government’s £24million Coastal Communities Fund when it launched last month.

Funding applications for the first bidding round need to be submitted by March 24.

Mayor of Skegness Coun Steve Kirk, speaking at the latest town council meeting on Wednesday said: “If people think they’ve got a group that could benefit from it, they should act fast.”
