Margaret Dickinson returns to the setting of Fairfield Hall

Local bestselling author, Margaret Dickinson, will be at National Trust property Gunby Hall and Gardens this Sunday, April 6 and Sunday, April, 27.

The setting of her latest romantic book is based on Gunby Hall and Gardens.

It features a turbulent story of love, duty and passion and with Annabel Fairfield the heroine of the story.

Margaret will be in the Gunby Dining Room from 11am to 4pm to meet her fans, pose for photos and sign copies of the book, which is a Times Bestseller.

“We are so pleased that Margaret will be with us again”, said house manager, Astrid Gatenby.

“Our association with the book has been a great success and we have welcomed many people who visited us especially because they have read Fairfield Hall. Our staff and volunteers love seeing Gunby Hall’s picture on the book’s cover and enjoyed being involved with Margaret’s research last year”, she added,

Admission is free for National Trust members, otherwise the cost is £6 per person.

Special admission prices apply on April 6 and 27, that include a book.

Paperback and admission is £9, hardback and admission is £17.

The books are also for sale at a reduced price in the Gunby tea room with paperback’s costing £5 (RRP £6.99) and hardback’s sold at £13 (RRP £20).
