A 38-year-old man has appeared before a court in Skegness on multiple charges concerning indecent photographs of children.
Mark Machin, of Ancaster Avenue, Chapel St Leonards, entered no pleas to an allegation of possessing 46 indecent images of children and a further charge of possessing a picture showing a person having intercourse with a dog.
He also entered no pleas over six allegations of making indecent images of children and one of distributing an indecent movie file.
All the alleged offences relate to dates between December 2008 and February 2014 and are alleged to have taken place at an address in Anderby Creek.
District Judge Leo Pyle, sitting at Skegness Magistrates’ Court heard that all the images had been found on Machin’s home computer and had been taken from the internet.
Judge Pyle ruled that the allegations were too serious to be heard in a magistrates’ court and Machin was sent for trial at Lincoln Crown Court with a first hearing on September 8.
On Tuesday, he was granted conditional bail.
