Graduates of Linkage College are being invited to a 40th anniversary reunion event and a musical show.
The event will mark 40 years of Linkage Trust which established Linkage College.
Thousands of young people with learning disabilities from across the country have studied further education courses at Linkage and learnt skills for life, at either the Toynton All Saints site near Spilsby, which opened in 1979, or the Weelsby Campus in Grimsby, which welcomed its first intake in 1982. The event will take place at Weelsby Hall on May 21, 1-4pm. Highlights will include an exhibition celebrating the four decades, as well as the chance to add memories.
Assistant principal Sally Warr, who has been at Linkage for 32 years, said: “It should be a terrific afternoon of memories and reunions.
“There are graduates with all kinds of personal achievements and it would be great to catch up with them.”
Tickets cost £2.50 including refreshments on arrival. Visit www.linkage.org.uk.
The reunion is one of a series of events by Linkage to celebrate the 40th anniversary. Other dates include a musical extravaganza by performing arts students at the Embassy Theatre, Skegness, on June 17.
