A free event aimed at helping people improve in every aspect of their lives is taking place in Skegness this week.
Flourish, which takes place between 2pm and 4pm on at the Storehouse on Saturday, will offer advice on everything from health and beauty to gardening.
Event organiser Tamara Boylin says the inspiration from the event came from a shy Storehouse church member who developed the self confidence to perform his own songs to an audience.
“He sewed the seed of enthusiasm and we are hoping that enthusiasm can spread throughout the community,” she said.
The family-orientated event will also include a range of children’s entertainment and activities including face painting and a ‘mini-beasties’ show and tell session.
The Mayor of Skegness Coun Jim Carpenter will be opening the event after which there will be sessions on beauty, affordable fashion, gardening, health and community spirt.
“There’s a whole gambit of tips on how to flourish in your life,” said Tamara.
