LATEST: Dementia sufferer Maureen Miller ‘found safe and well’

An 80-year-old dementia sufferer who went missing in Skegness yesterday has been ‘found safe and well’.

Maureen Miller, a care home resident from Leicester, was visiting the town yesterday when she was reported missing after last being seen at The Boardwalk cafe on Tower Esplanade at around noon wearing a cream cardigan and a grey and pink shirt.

A search was launched for the missing pensioner and the coastguard stood down at around 6.45pm to allow Lincolnshire Police to focus inland.

Lincolnshire Police has now confirmed on its website that Maureen Miller has been ‘found safe and well’ and thanked all for their help in the search, around an hour ago.
