A TRADITIONAL Victorian Christmas fair is set to take place for the whole community to enjoy in Langton By Spilsby.
The event will take place in Langton Village Hall next Saturday, December 10 from 7pm till 9.30pm.
There will be food hampers, a marquee, lots of stalls with crafts, local produce and much more for visitors to enjoy.
Many local businesses have supported the event, which organisers have been arranging since March.
“This is the first time we have put on this event and we are so grateful for all the support from the local community and all the businesses that have donated food for the hampers.
“We hope it will be a fantastic festive evening which will help get everyone excited for the big day which will soon be upon us.
“Everyone is welcome and there is no admission fee, so come and enjoy a warm drink and a few carols,” said joint organisers Shirley and Ian Whitworth.
There will be a big Christmas groceries raffle, where food has been donated from businesses across the area.
Foodies can enjoy a whole range of festive Christmas produce such as puddings, cakes, rum truffles and much more.
There will also be plum bread from Modens of Spilsby and Jams and chutneys from Peter Eden of Friskney, food from Cooplands bakery, hot chessnuts from Lincoln and meat and sausage rolls from Wilcox Butchers.
A Christmas tree has been donated by Longmate Garden Centre in Partney and the lights by other businesses.
Those looking for festive inspiration can also see Hannah Smelt who will be putting on a Christmas wreath making and table decoration, demonstration at 7pm.
There will be carol singing and the stall holders will be wearing traditional Victorian dress.
All the proceeds of the event will also be going to the Help for Heroes charity and the village hall maintenance fund.
