Ladies’ Probus members enjoy talk on life in the Falklands

An overseas development professional gave a talk on his time spent in the Falklands during the 1970s to Skegness Ladies’ Probus members at their November meeting.

John Farrow regaled the group with his tales of the islands’ history, its military background and the economy which sustains today’s population of around 2,800 civilians.

The group will be hosting its Christmas lunch on Thursday, December 13.
