Easter eggs have been rolling onto the shelves in shops for weeks, but now a survey is claiming Cadbury’s Dairy Milk is the most popular chocolate bar in Skegness.
The survey was conducted nationally by the money-saving website Voucherbox.
In Skegness, Cadbury’s Dairy Milk which has been around since 1905, beat Galaxy into second place, soaring away from from Snickers, Ferrero Rocher and Caramac who made up the top five.
It also found that one in four people in Skegness are spending about £219 a year2 on chocolate as they get their daily fix. Yet 41 per cent of those surveyed have no idea how much they’re spending, and almost half of respondents (4 per cent) say the cost wouldn’t sway their choice anyway.
Dairy Milk, which first rolled off the Cadbury production line in 1905, led the field by some margin, with Voucherbox claiming nationally Brits go through 16 million of them a day1
