Is Twitter down? Users of social media site report problems this morning
Social media website Twitter appeared to go down on Tuesday morning.
Users started to experience problems at around 8.30am, with both the desktop website and mobile app seemingly down.
Although some users have been able to access the website, the service is said to be 'erratic'.
Many people who visited twitter.com this morning received a message saying: "Something is technically wrong. Thanks for noticing-we're going to fix it up and have things back to normal soon."
