Iron Man set for town this Saturday

The famous tale of ‘The Iron Man’ by literary great Ted Hughes will be brought to life in spectacular fashion during two shows in Skegness on Saturday, July 6.

Tower Gardens will host the Graeae Theatre Company’s production at 1pm and again at 4pm.

“The story retells, the unexpected arrival of the towering Iron Man which casts a shadow of fear across a small farm community. But when an enormous dragon from outer-space threatens to annihilate the planet, it is the Iron Man who comes to the rescue,” said a spokesperson.

The fable will be live and use recorded soundscapes with a mix of words, sign language and audio descriptive narrative. The free event will take place on Saturday near Skegness RNLI from 1pm - 4pm.
