Thousands of people took to the streets of Skegness last night (Thursday) to see the town’s festive lights switched-on.
Lincs FM’s Sam Kirk was joined by Father Christmas and cast from the town’s pantomime at the switch-on ceremony outside the Hildreds Centre at 7pm.
Earlier Father Christmas was escorted down Lumley Road in a parade that included vintage vehicles and live reindeer.
A number of local shops and eateries stayed open late to mark the occasion.
There’ll be photos from the ceremony, and other local Christmas events, in next week’s edition of the Skegness Standard (on sale December 4th).
