Staff at a Skegness hotel are celebrating receiving a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence

The Grosvenor House Hotel received the certificate after getting positive reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year.

Certificate of Excellence recipients include accommodations, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.

Russell Sparkes, general manager of the family-run business, praised his manageress, Brenda Hunter, and all his staff for their dedication and attention to detail, friendliness and service.

His team includes his wife, daughter and grandchildren, plus the staff in front of house, kitchen, maintenance and housekeeping.

Mr Sparkes said: “With myself and my family having only moved to Skegness in April of 2014, when the hotel was suffering from a lack of success, to achieve all this in just two years is completely down to my staff’s hard work and enthusiasm.

“I cannot praise them enough. I would also like to thank both new and regular visitors to the hotel for their kind words and ratings on TripAdvisor.”
