Hospital in more praise for bikers

A HOSPITAL has praised the generous bikers who gave up their time to deliver hundreds of Easter eggs to poorly youngsters in its children’s ward.

As reported in last week’s Standard, a group of kind-hearted bikers took a delivery of gifts made by local businesses and their customers from Skegness to Boston Pilgrim Hospital on Sunday April 1.

Children’s ward sister at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust said: “The children in hospital on the day of the Easter egg run all enjoy watching the motorbikes arriving and their parents are very grateful and appreciative of the time and effort the bikers go to in bringing the eggs to the ward.”
