A HOLIDAY centre’s end of season fancy dress party rounded off a generous year of fund raising for a vital life saving charity.
North Shore Holiday Centre guests and staff raised more than £300 for the RNLI during the event at the Pitch and Putt pub.
Holiday centre owner Judy Roberts said: “I’m a big believer in supporting local causes and I think they do a superb job.
“We’ve got several relatives who spend time at sea so its a charity close to our hearts and we will continue to support them next year.”
Judy and her husband Dave were regular visitors to the holiday centre and enjoyed their time there so much that they decided to buy it when the lease came up last year.
Since taking it over they have hosted a variety of charity events including race nights, musical performances and a popular 40s theme night, which together raised a total of £1,813 for the charity.
