Concern is growing for the safety of a woman from Skegness after a failed attempt by her family to bring her home from Belgium.

Vicki Hale (37) has been travelling in Europe for a number of years. In April, her family were contacted by police in Belgium, who had concerns for her health.

Lincolnshire Police say when her family travelled to Belgium to bring her home, she had left the area before they arrived.

Vicki is 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build, with short hair and blue eyes.

A spokesman for the police said: “We know that Vicki did not have her passport with her so cannot have travelled back to the UK and is in Belgium or mainland Europe.

“Concern is growing for her welfare and we are appealing to her, or anyone who knows her, to make contact.”

From within the UK, please call 101 (wait for other force options if you are not in Lincolnshire). Callers from Europe should dial 44 1522 532222. Please quote incident number 91 of 10th May.
